Maintenance

Reseal the Curava surface every year to keep it looking like new. Sealing is an operation that takes 5 minutes to perform, basically consisting of brushing the sealer over the surface with a paint brush or roller twice and waiting for it to penetrate and dry in about 2 hours.
For regular cleaning, wipe the surface clean with a damp cloth. Use mild liquid soap or detergent for spots or rings.
Curava is extremely durable. In the unlikely event of damage, your fabricator can easily repair it.
Curava withstands contact with hot pans very well. However, prolonged heat can weaken the sealant. If your Curava surfaces come into contact with extreme heat on a frequent basis, you should apply sealant more often.
When properly sealed, Curava is resistant to common household stains, but like other surfaces, it can be damaged by prolonged exposure to foods and liquids with high acidic content, such as wine, citrus juices and coffee. Spills should be wiped up with mild soap and water as they happen.
